We may collect personally identifiable information, should you voluntarily complete  the contact form on our business page, use the chat function on Our Site or subscribe to our mailing list. This information includes, but is not limited to:

  • Email address, phone number
  • Company/club information such as name, address, contact details and other information you provide when you contact us when using Our Site.

We also collect non-personally identifiable data, which is passively collected when you visit our website. This data will only be used for system administration and to help Tour Tag provide a better service to you. This includes, but is not limited to:

2. MOBILE APP PRIVACY POLICY 

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The Tour Tag Mobile App allows users to receive loyalty points for checking in at golf courses in Scotland, exchanging points for rewards within the golfing industry and completing in-app challenges.

Tour Tag Ltd is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and personal information.

This privacy policy explains how Tour Tag Ltd collect, control, process, and use information about you whilst using our Mobile App (which we call personal data”). This privacy policy applies only to the Tour Tag Mobile App and governs the privacy of those who use it. You may choose not to provide Tour Tag Ltd with your Personal Data. However, if you choose not to provide your Personal Data, you may not be able to enjoy the full Mobile App experience.

This privacy policy does not extend to any other apps or websites that are linked from our Mobile App (whether we provide those links or whether they are shared by other users). We have no control over how your data is collected, stored or used by other companies and we advise you to check the privacy policies before providing any data to them.

We may do this to improve the service for our users.

How We Collect and Use Personal Data

Personal data is collected on a consent basis. We collect your Personal Data in a number of ways and for various purposes, this includes but not is not limited to:

   When you register for an account or interact with our Services.

   When you give us permission to collect Location Data. We ask for your location services so that you can gain your loyalty points through checking in at courses and get the full experience of the Tour Tag Mobile App. We also use location data to show you rewards based on your location.

   When you communicate with us or sign up for promotional materials.

   When you participate in special activities, offers, or programs.

   When you engage with our online communities or advertising.

   When you access third party products and services.

   When you connect or link an account with us through social media.

   When we leverage and/or collect cookies, device IDs, Location, data from the environment, and other tracking technologies.

   When we access Firebase analytics linked to the Tour Tag Mobile App

   When we provide you geographically relevant Services, offers, or advertising.

   When we comply with Legal Requirements or Obligations, Law Enforcement, and for Public Safety Purposes

Storage of your data

Some or all of the data we collect from you may be transferred outside of the European Economic Area (the EEA”) for processing and storing. All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access features on our Mobile App, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. You should not share your password with anyone.

Data Retention

 In general, we will retain your personal information for the length of time reasonably needed to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy policy (including for as long as needed to provide you or our customer with products and services) unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. You also have the option to delete your account and all data associated with a users profile on the Tour Tag Mobile App.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect against unauthorised or unlawful processing of Personal Data and against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to Personal Data. Please be advised, however, that we cannot fully eliminate security risks associated with the storage and transmission of Personal Data.

For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Tour Tag Ltd is the controller of the Personal Data you provide to us (Data Controller”). As a Data Controller, we process the Personal Data we maintain about you in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Mobile App Advertising

Advertising on the Tour Tag Mobile App can occur in two different methods:

   Internal advertising produced by Tour Tag. This can include but is not limited to: (i) Tour Tag Premium Subscription pop up ads, (ii) Loyalty points promotions, or (iii) Any advertisements we believe add value to users and that we feel they may want to view.

   External advertising from Affiliate programs. Tour Tag is registered to golf related companies who advertise on the Tour Tag Mobile App.

Advertisements will be removed by purchasing a premium subscription.

Links to Other Parties

Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control or to people that we do not employ or manage. Our Services may provide a link or otherwise provide access to Third Party Sites. Where we provide a link it does not mean that we endorse or approve that site’s policy towards visitor privacy; We provide these links merely for your convenience. We have no control over, do not review, and are not responsible for Third Party Sites, their content, or any goods or services available through the Third Party Sites. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to Third Party Sites, and any data you provide to Third Party Sites, you provide at your own risk. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any Third Party Sites with that you interact with.

Age Restrictions

 We do not knowingly collect Personal Data online from people under 16 years old. If you become aware that someone under the age of 16 has provided us with Personal Data without parental consent, please contact us through our Support Team. If we become aware that a person under 16 has provided us with Personal Data without parental consent, we will take steps to remove the data and cancel the account.

   Right of access to your Personal Data: You have the right to ask us for confirmation on whether we are processing your Personal Data, and access to the Personal Data and related information on that processing (e.g., the purposes of the processing, or the categories of Personal Data involved).

   Right to correction: You have the right to have your Personal Data corrected, as permitted by law.

   Right to erasure: You have the right to ask us to delete your Personal Data, as permitted by law. This right may be exercised among other things: (i) when your Personal Data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed; (ii) when you withdraw consent on which processing is based according to Art. 6 (1) (a) or Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR and where there is no other legal ground for processing; (iii) when you object to processing pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or when you object to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 (2) GDPR; or, (iv) when your Personal Data has been unlawfully processed.

   Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to request the limiting of our processing under limited circumstances, including: when the accuracy of your Personal Data is contested; when the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of your Personal Data and request the restriction of the use of your Personal Data instead; or when you have objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of Tour Tag override your grounds.

   Right to data portability: You have the right to receive the Personal Data that you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transmit that information to another controller, including to have it transmitted directly, where technically feasible.

   Right to object: You have the right to object to our processing of your Personal Data, as permitted by law. This right is limited to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR, and includes profiling based on those provisions, and processing for direct marketing purposes. After which, we will no longer process your Personal Data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
